Discover All You Need to Know for a Seamless Stay at City Centre Motel Bendigo

From check-in to check-out, we’ve got you covered with essential information and helpful tips to make your visit truly enjoyable.

Our reception is wheelchair accessible through the front door facing Forest Street. We have got two wheelchair accessible rooms available which have got a wheel in shower, wheel under basin and railing provided throughout the bathroom.

A shower chair and a bed pole can be provided free of charge if required. Please enquire by phone on 03 54432077 or by email on if you would like to book one of our wheelchair accessible rooms.

We offer cooked and continental Room service breakfast only, delivered to your room between 7am-9am.

Valid credit card details are to be supplied at time of booking. Your credit card will be charged on the day of check in unless a advanced deposit is required due to a special event/peak period.

A deposit may be required at time of booking during peak periods and special events. A $30 cancellation fee will be applied to your account in case of a cancellation more than 7 days prior to your arrival time and where you have paid a deposit.

Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to check in may result in the full amount of your entire stay being charged to your account.

We currently offer charge back facilities with the Rifle Brigade Pub on View Street and the Winebank on View.

Just show your room key and they will bill it to your room.

Guests can check in from 2pm onwards. Please note that we require Photo ID and a valid Credit Card to check you in.

Check out time is 10am. Please leave your key in the room if you are checking out prior to 7.30am.

All our rooms have got a reverse cycle air conditioner/heating system to keep you comfortable during your stay.

We don’t have any Minibar items in our rooms, but have snacks, drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and personal care items available for purchase in reception.

We currently have one electric charger available for electric vehicles. As this car park is also used for non EV’s please advise at time of booking that you require the electric charger.

Please note that we do not accept group bookings made online. Any group bookings made online may be cancelled.

We are a member of Good to Book, a risk management database for Registered Short Term Accommodation Providers (STAPs) (‘GtoB database’). We will use the GtoB database to search your name and the names of guests booking or staying with you at our accommodation. 

If we find an entry on the GtoB database, this indicates that there was some problem caused by you, or one of your guests, at a previous accommodation you have stayed at. Based on information on the GtoB database, we may refuse to accept your accommodation request or booking (and will refund any money you have paid) or we may impose additional restrictions on your stay (for example, an additional security bond).

We cannot check the accuracy of the GtoB database nor can we disclose to you any information on the GtoB database or the registered STAP who uploaded the information, as this information is confidential. The information on the database is used for evaluative purposes so accommodation providers can decide whether to enter into a contract for accommodation with you or not. Any concerns you have with the GtoB database will need to be discussed with GtoB directly. You can contact GtoB via email at

We accept no liability for our use of the GtoB database, including any reliance we make on the information contained on the GtoB database, even if the information uploaded is incorrect. 

We may also upload information to the GtoB database if you cause damage or harm to us, our staff, guests or our property during your stay. Providing we are not negligent; we will not be liable to you or any other person for any consequence arising from the upload of information to the GtoB database by us.

Our guest laundry is open from 8am – 8pm every day. A washing machine and dryer is available for you to use free of charge.

Complimentary washing powder is located on the window sill for you to use.

Newspapers are available from 8am onwards at cost price.

Off street parking is available free of charge at the City Centre Motel.

We accept Cash, Visa, Master and EFTPOS payments (no surcharges apply). Payments with AmEx or Diners Club Cards attract a 3% surcharge.

Please note that we require a valid credit card upon check in, otherwise a $200 cash bond is payable in addition to the accommodation costs. 

We are a pet free Motel, please refrain from bringing them onto the property. An extra cleaning fee of $550 will be added to your account for decontamination if you allow a pet into your room.

Guide, hearing or assistance dogs are allowed to enter if they have the appropriate certification.

Portacots are available for an extra fee of $30 for your stay, which includes all linen. Please note that portacots are only suitable for children up to 2 years of age.

Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays  – 8.30am-7pm

Please note that all our rooms are non-smoking. Smoking is only permitted outside on the balconies or in the car park.

An extra cleaning fee of $550 will be added to your account if you do not follow these rules.

Wifi is available free of charge in all rooms and public areas.
